  1. I think one of weakness of man city is double crossing (mean crossing from left to right and then trent finish by low or high crossing pass. Or can be contrary). They are very difficult to be attacked by linear attack, except by very quick counter attack.

I hope my suggestion can help Mr. Klopp to beat man city on FA Cup and also on UCL if LFC and man city qualified. ??

  2. Man City can potentially win all their matches from here, Liverpool still has to face Tottenham who are scary up front at the moment……not to mention tricky games against Man United and Wolves……

  3. A really disappointing performance. There was no composure on the ball from most of the players. The team was not aggressive enough. The team switched off for the first goal, being caught out by a quick free kick? Come on. Why does the team keep conceding goals from a Matip deflection? It must be something that he is not doing right. Whether it is his laid back approach, the way he leans back to defend the shot. His legs might be too open when defending shots. His body positioning, i don't know but something is wrong there because deflected goals off Matip is starting to become a trend. Also, City's second goal. FFS, They score a goal like that every other match. That is a training ground routine for them. Reverse ball to the back post from a corner. This Liverpool team and coaching staff clearly did not do their homework against these man. Awful performance, the team knew they had to win the match but you could clearly see which team wanted it more. Henderson has no composure on the ball in big games. The midfield to beat City is Thiago Fabinho and Keita. The front three should be Salah, Mane and Diaz [Bobby is not a bad shout either, Jota should be subbed on if the team is chasing a goal. He offers very little otherwise] . Diaz and Keita keep the ball better under pressure than Jota and Henderson. Lastly, I'd consider starting Konate over Matip in this fixture. Konate is quicker and more aggressive than Matip. City were there for the taking, the team was not brave enough on the ball, very nervous and scared of these man. The starting 11 was wrong and clearly the staff did not do their homework on this City team. They score that 2nd goal almost every other match. The reverse ball to the back post from a corner ffs. Anyways 1 point is better than 0 point, so there is still hope. YNWA97

  5. If Lpool go on to lose the league title it’ll be because Klopp played Milner and Henderson in midfield against the likes of Brentford away. It’s solely on him.

  6. Happy?Birthday Sadio❤️Mane and pray that you will play well in today's Man city match and wish you success and glory to Liverpool today????……

  7. For me man City won this mentaly, but i have to give credit to our boys the way we responded in the 2nd half with that goal.
Also our 1st goal was so so good. That's what I want to see in the near future against them.
And please someone fix Trent position I am having headache, every one knows that is our weakness, and people keep on punching that side. Pls move him to RM and let Gomez do the RB job.

  8. I'm disappointed in Liverpool performance.
1 too predictable with short passes in the middle. City was waiting for Liverpool to make mistakes
    2. Failed to stretch the field by using Robertson and Arnold more often. Then, he could mix with short passes.
    3. Dias should start the game in in order to stretch the field. Utilized Dias speed to make City confused

  9. We are very poor when we lose the ball unfortunately we lose it very quickly this season. Liverpool need to be more direct and stop City or other teams getting in behind their defenders .Liverpool was lucky today City was likely to get The winner

  10. That game was so weird yet enjoyable. It’s like Jurgen and Pep switched tactics and took each other’s play style. Pep went with the direct long ball and we tried to between the lines with our midfield. Was like a footballing experiment loved it

  11. I’ve been saying this for a long time now but no one wants to admit it, come to terms with it, and just be honest about the whole situation when it comes to TAA while he’s done a lot for Liverpool over past few years I feel like in particular the last two years it really started to show his weaknesses in his overall play. Because it really showed again in this game his lack of tactical awareness therefore his defending is and was bad.

Side note: TAA is a natural DM but is not good enough for Klopp’s system, so instead Klopp converted him to RB to give him a opportunity to play professionally. I don’t know if one is currently out there but Liverpool definitely need to find a well seasoned RB.

Everybody keeps saying great game I believe quite the opposite because it clearly shows Liverpool’s players are fatigued, burned out, and not enough rest due to a congested schedule and not having a proper rotation Klopp says he rotates but he really doesn’t it’s the same lineup over and over again with the exception of switching out one or two players every now and then when it should be half of the team or the majority in some cases in order to ensure proper rest.
