  1. That LFC midfield should of had been awarded Thiago – 6, Fab – 5 & Hendo – 5. They were so poor in attack and defense, the legs were found wanting and Jurgen needs to address this issue as its not going to be a quick fix.

  2. Liverpool dropped points Brighton at home a draw, West ham away they lost
City have to play those exact fixtures,
that may be where the title is decided
If Liverpool win all their games
And City have Wolves away , I seem to recall a very dodgy sending off and Penalty were needed at the Etihad

  3. Man City is profligate. Liverpool was clinical. It's better to take the chances that you get vs creating chance after chance that your midfielders nervously punt into the stands or curl wide of the post. Every top striker in the world was all slaver and lust to see those chances City created. Bring one in and turn him loose.

Do it. Bring in Mo Salah on a two year deal at 350k/wk. Let me check… Yep, oil still popular, money no problem.

  4. The ratings were pretty fair. Overall, City were a bit better, though 2-2 wasn't outrageous. Sane was the best player for Liverpool I think, though he's right that Matip was very good. I think Thiago especially was terrible, and very fortunate to not be sent off. Fabinho was better than him but also dabbled with getting multiple cards. As far as Man City, I think his marks were also quite accurate. Had Sterling's goal stood then he might have got an 8. Jesus and De Bruyne were both excellent.

  5. How do pep do it. Jesus didnt play for a long time but when pep give him chance he plays like he is a regular. Baffles me how both pep and klopp manages their players.

  6. As a Liverpool fan, I think Liverpool were lucky to get away with a point. This game was city’s to win, but they pull their foot off the gas in the second half after mane goal. But city were the better team. Liverpool did well too. To be honest I don’t think Sterling goal was offside even though VAR said it was. If there was no VAR sterling goal would have been a goal and City would have won the game. But overall a classic and good game from two of the best teams in the world right now. It’s like El-Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona

  7. Good summary by Stevie. City should have destroyed us and missed a massive opportunity to kill it off. Our midfield is just far too slow without the ball. Too many 30 year olds in the team. City and esp KDB ran past it for fun! Need new blood like Bellingham in the summer. Forget the title City will easily win their games against that opposition. It is what they do. Also I can't see us beating Utd, Everton and Spurs! Form goes out of the window in derby games. YNWA

  8. Missed opportunity? Of course it would be phrased that way. What opportunity? ? Very lucky to get anything out of it. Bad City headers lead to both goals. Got away with too many yellow cards. That VAR decision is very dubious, the line doesn't seem to stop in front of where Sterling is, it's off to his left so it can go below the other line. No surprises though.

  9. Missed opportunity for Liverpool!!? If anything it was missed opportunity for City.
Offside disallowed, Free kick hits the post, missed Chip by Mahrez, dominated the play. Liverpool got away with it again. Just like Milner earlier Thiago should hv been sent off.
