AC Milan have agreed an £18.5m deal in principle to sign Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The Italian side are hopeful of signing the 27-year-old as a replacement for Sandro Tonali, who is set to join Newcastle.

Loftus-Cheek, who has one year left on his Chelsea contract, has spent his entire career at Stamford Bridge with loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham.

The Chelsea academy graduate has made 155 appearances for the Blues since making his debut in 2014, scoring 13 goals.

In addition, the deals to take Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to Al Ahli and winger Hakim Ziyech to Al Nassr are now understood to be very close.

Both Saudi Arabia moves could be completed this week after personal terms were agreed.

  1. So which Milan do I cheer on? One has Tomori & RLC and another one taking our legend Azpilicueta. (I have no interest in the no.9 of Inter Milan.)

RLC will be massive for AC Milan, I think.

  2. A player with a year remaining on his contract sold for that amount and they don’t want United to sign Mount for 55mil. Though they’re different in qualities they better take what United is offering to lose him for free

  3. RLC and Callum never recovered their previous form afterl those serious injuries for us, hope RLC will do it in Milan. Never even a hint of trouble or turmoil surrounding that player, wish him all the best at Milan.

  4. One player I haven’t been unable to understand at Chelsea, is he an engine, playmaker or DM? Like other young English talents, he is one of the ones to watch till he gets old 😂

  5. even Chelsea who finished 12th last season manage to sell their players for quite good price so they can fund their transfer activities

meanwhile ManUtd who finished 3rd, not even a rumour that clubs are interested with the players they're selling, let alone official bids, not even from arab clubs who currently will spend millions on a peanut
