2. It's not the tactics or even the players. It's the training and coach.

   Milan aren't doing basics, simple doubling on defence or 1-2-3 progressions into the box. Pioli is obsessed on individual sparks of magic. Works with small teams, even medium teams if you keep the ball long enough. But it can't work against teams that have individual players of the same or higher value. That's where we see the defence breaking down – attackers are usually the better players on a squad. Leao is an amazing one-on-one player. But the rest – struggle with such an assignment. The new people – last year for CDK – they can not do only individual actions consistently. It's insane. Even if you maximize team chemistry and keep the same couplings for 40 matches, individual sparks can not beat teams of same or higher value players.

12. So I just came back home after watching this game at the parc des princes (I'm Paris based). Here's my take. We were dominant until the first goal. Then, we just went pff… we disappeared. This is NOT ok. Thiaw sees yellow after 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES !!! WHAT the hell man ?!?
    This is not on Pioli, this is on the players who lose their shit when things don't go their way. Leao does not deserve the nb 10. All that lack of professionalism is NOT acceptable.

13. It makes no sense to change coaches now. Pioli will stay until the end of the season at least. If Milan consider changing Pioli then they will find a cheap option. Francesco Farioli from Nice is a good option and he is a young upcoming Italian coach and a student of De Zerbi. Forza Milan ❤

14. We saw a 17yr old boss our midfield tonight. We have one of the best youth teams in Europe and dont utilise any of them. Zeroli, Eletu and Chaka are all ready for game time yet we have a coach who refuses to see what is in front him. If we have injuries and the reserves are injured thye should play, he cant simply play the guys who consistently play poor when he has options. We have no identity as a team, just a collection of invidual moments. Its Leao heroball our nothing under Pioli.

If the brass were smart they would hire an independent medical staff (MD, Physio, AT, S&C Coach) to observe training and make recommendations.
