DEFLATED, BUT NOT DEFEATED | LIVERPOOL 1-1 TOTTENHAM | ANFIELD REACTION

Join Paul for his reaction straight from Anfield after Liverpool drew 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur, a result which could seemingly be the end for Liverpool’s title ambitions, unless a team can beat Man City before the end of the season.

  1. another note :
liverpool is acting like mancity style which is attcking every min and this is wrong coz liverpool got speed and energy so take it easy read ( the game and the rival and weakpoints ) then pick the time to start a storm of 15 min to score then go into calm smart mode !

  2. my notes :
that was a game of one goal coz spurs depend on counterattack and no need for alot of energy just use calm smart style and origi was better subs than jota coz there was no space beside even if liverpool won all games it still in city's hand so great game .. move on !

  3. I suppose the most frustrating thing is, accepting that 'Dark arts' or 'un-sportman' like conduct is part and parcel of the game. It's most definitely frustrating when the club I support, don't practice in such ways but are still trying to win the big prizes when the likes of Man City who somewhat practice this themselves, especially more recently, are rewarded with a Premier League trophy. It sucks, I hate it but have to accept it.

  4. It’s actually very disappointing to not win the league after Klopp’s bs about “Attacking it” ! Best team in a gen and all we are are a cup side who came second a bunch of times. The low expectations on here is seriously pathetic

  5. Getting down in the dumps because we drew a game just shows what high expectations we have of this incredible team. Three cup finals and a tight title race – it's been a season to treasure. Hopefully we'll be seeing silver again next Saturday. YNWA

  6. Won one trophy, in two more finals and top of the league albeit City have a game in hand, where are the grounds for negativity? City still have to win their games and will play these games knowing a loss could hand us the league. It's been a dream season so far and already a success for me and this nearly 50 year old Scouser gets to go to his first final next Saturday, the FA Cup final.

  7. I was there for the game and what an atmosphere ? spurs set up to grab a draw or win. Spurs fans singing like they won the league it’s all they got to cheer about they’ll see as some kind of revenge for the champions league final. I’ve had a feeling city would win the league for a while now. I think we’ll definitely get one of the two cups we’re still in if not both.

  8. It's good news. The title was always gone. But now the reality can set in and we can rest players for the finals that we actually have a say in winning !!!

  9. We're missing Firmino and his guile. Not all about brute peace. Slim slim chance but if I'm honest with myself
I can't see a PL win happening. Gutted. I can still but only pray. We've just drawn too many games.

  10. Really impressed by the crowed today. After Sons goal you would imagine they would be quite. However it was that moment when Liverpool fans were really noisy

  11. Love the positivity about the league, but have we just shown Chelsea and Real Madrid how to play against us in the finals? Our lack of ideas/creativity against low block teams again.. yawn

  12. the premier league hasn't finished yet … city has 4 difficult games. A
lot of people are too emotional and doesn't use logic. Nothing has
    finished yet

  13. Shocked we didn’t see Origi come on, I mean these kinds of games are why we have Origi but props to Tottenham, it was a great game

  14. I don't know why Klopp is not substituting Salah, even when he is not playing well. He would not pass to others better placed and preferred to waste chances instead. He called for Keita to leave the ball for him, when Keita could have tried to shoot or passed to better placed player, only to waste the opportunity. Salah is easily marked out of games by average defenders. His lack of skill in tackling and winning one-on-one when closely marked is obvious. Luis Suarez, Diaz, Firmingho, Origi are a few former and current Liverpool players who are good at this and can breakdown tough defenses

  15. A German Bayern fan here. Guys you are in a competitive league and Spurs are a good team. You are still in two finals that’s awesome. Chin up. You could be fans of BVB.

  16. Could have lost that to be fair. City were always going to win the League anyway. Unfortunately it’s not been much of a rivalry with them about to win their fourth in five years compared to our one. Hopefully we can add the CL and FA Cup to the Cabinet.

Still a phenomenal team we have so enjoy it while it lasts.
