It really comes down to a front office that didnt address the main issues of Man U during the 2021 transfer window. The fact that Man U's forwards cant press effectively and their midfielders cant win the ball back means that Maguire and the back line are always taking on a barrage of runs and shots on them from every single angle.
Maguire has not played well but neither have the rest of the team in front of him. The thing is that NO center back would be able to succeed in Maguire's place due to the sheer volume he is asked to defend against.

80m looks an obscene waste of money and it was a lazy purchase from Utd board off the back of a tournament. As a captain you should in my opinion be one of the most reliable if not best players in the team – having said most players are getting worse at Manu so it's a problem across that place.

Decision making is important and Maguire is the worst I've seen at it.
