  1. I'm not meaning to sound critical, but Salah shouldn't even be in the squad for this game let alone being on the bench or starting. He needs resting and do it properly by leaving him at home. We're more than capable of progressing without him, and anyway he's been in poor form recently. My team would be:

    Alisson
    Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson
    Keita, Henderson, Jones
    Minamino, Firmino, Diaz

That is a capable team to keep the two goal aggregate lead and even add to it. I would like to rest Van Dijk, but he needs to be there to help stop that diving bellend Nunez, and I'd like to bring in Tsimikas for Robbo, but then I fear the balance will be too badly affected. Gomez has had the more recent game time and was sound at right back, and Minamino deserves a chance.

  2. Got to trust in the squad what does it say when you have a game pretty much done and you still dont trust to out them in, it's okay to rest the big players but not give the fringe players a game

    Ali

    Gomez
    Konate
    VVD
    Kostas

    Hendo
    Jones
    Keita

    Elliott/Jota
    Bobby
    Dias

  3. Vs Benfica:
    Alisson
    Trent- Virg- Ibou- Robbo
    Hendo- Milly- Curtis/ox
    Bobby- Jota/ – Diaz
Diaz, Hendo and Jota off for Curtis/ox Naby and Harvey on the hour mark and later on Bobby and Milly off for Morton and Taki.
    Vs City lineup:
    Alisson
    Gomez- Ibou/ Virg- Joel- Robbo
    Thiago- Fab- Naby
    Salah- Diaz- Mane
I think these are good lineups, as not only are they strong, but there is also rotation for everyone. (Alisson maybe a rest against Everton, and robbo against united and Everton)

  4. We''ll have a probably 120min game against city, after that we gonna face united and everton, we need to rest players in this game.

    My team against benfica :

    Alisson

    Gomez

    Konate

    VVD

    Kostas

    Hendo

    Keita

    Jones

    Diaz

    Firmino

    Taki

A strong team that can do the job and we will rest Arnold, matip, robbo, fabinho, thiago, mane, salah and jota rested for city's game.

  5. It's a second leg Home game we are playing in a full crowd with a 2 goal difference and it's a 5 subs game .
So it's the best game to change the starting line up it's the best moment to rotate .give some players a rest .it's ManCity-ManU-Everton 2 trophys to play for in those 3 top games .we will need every one fully fit .
So in my opinion a big rotation with .
Trent – Virgil – Thiago – Fabinho all to be rested.

    My line up would be ;
    Ali
    Gomez – Matip – Konaté – Tsimikas
    Naby – Hendo – Curtis/Milner
    Jota/Oxlade – Mané – Luiz Diaz

    12 Subs ; Kelleher – Virgil – Trent – Robbo – Fabinho – Thiago – Milner – Salah – Firmino – Origi – Oxlade – Minamino.

With Bobby Firmino as a super sub as always. Hope to give Lord Origi a chance with a bang goal.

  6. We will start strong and then use subs when players get tired. He may rest Matip. He may bring in Naby. However, the team will largely stay the same.

Allison, Trent, Konate, Virgil, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago, Salah, Diaz and either Mane Firmino or Jota in the centre.

This will be the team. Paul hasn't got a clue. This is a Champions League Quarter Final, Second Leg. Klopp will play his best team and bring on five subs if he feels the players are tiring. It's that simple.

  7. 1. No way Trent starts.
    2. Why on EARTH is Ox even in the conversation? He didn't even make the bench Sunday..nor did he even get a minute against Benfica.. and u think he would magically start?
    3. Dias has to start. Then Firmino and Mane. No way Klopp is resting both Mane and Salah..

    4. I don't know shit?? Ignore me

  8. Nah… don't make too many changes. Nottingham forest had us on the ropes… not so long ago. I would rather go almost full strength, apart from Salah. We then play controlled football, may be score a goal or two and then make a sea of changes.

Yes we battered Benfica in the first half, but they came roaring back in the second half. They only need two goals to take it to extra time, if I am not mistaken. Just my two cents.

  9. Interesting shout about Elliott top right. But obviously unlikely. I don't think Harvey will play much for the rest of the season, if at all.

  10. really funny 15:00. great show, so much to talk about, nice. I agree with your line-up, apart from Trent should be rested with Gomez coming in, Gomez has been really good at right back when he's come in. he's not Trent, but no one is.

  11. Play couple of the squad players for this game since we have to play City again this weekend. Most important thing please drop Mo Salah, boy needs a rest and hasn't been great last few game's now.
Here's my team this Wednesday night against Benfica, which we should beat them.
    Gk, Alisson Becker
    RB, Joe Gomez
    CB, Konate
    CB, VVD
    LB, Kostas Tsimikas
    DM, Hendo
    CM, Ox
    CM, Jones
    RW, Mane or Minamino
    CF, Firmino
    LW, Diaz

  12. I think we start "weaker" & strengthen it if we have to as that way you ensure the maximum chance of resting tired players which is the objective of making the changes. I'd put Ox in midfield instead of Jones & Taki on the right of attack. Subs: Fab, Milner, Gomez, Jota, Salah.

  13. Think some players needs to be rested for this game or not play the whole 90 min. Those players being Salah, Mané, Robbo, Thiago, VVD, Fab. So don't really know what the startin XI should be but I think Tsimikas 100% deserves some game time and Robbo needs a rest anyway he looked so tired at the end of that City game and we got a World class back up LB.

  14. Alisson

    Gomez
    Konaté
    Van Dijk
    Tsimikas

    Henderson
    Keita
    Jones

    Oxlade-Chamberlain
    Firmino
    Diaz

Subs: Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Milner, Fabinho, Thiago, Mané, Jota, Salah
