It’s been six months since work began on the Anfield Road Redevelopment to increase capacity to 61,000.
Back in September, Jurgen Klopp put the first spade into the ground and work officially started.
Foundations have since been laid and steelwork installed to support the structure, as well as lift shafts that will reach 40 feet above ground level.
This video, via LFCTV, shows the progress that has been made to date on the latest Anfield construction project.

Just hope this isn't the last expansion Anfield sees. There's still 2 more stands after this, 60k is NOT big enough for LFC, not when there's 10s of thousands of people who've been on a waiting list for decades now, and 10s of thousands more who just don't even bother trying because they know it's impossible. Here's to this being a good step in the right direction, not the final step YNWA
