  1. I did not know who he was before Anfield beckons but damn he is doing a remarkable job. I am very certain Liverpool have the best manager in football world. More than a group of talented individuals, he mould them into a fearsome unit.

  2. AEK Larnaca in Cyprus have just lost meaning Liverpool are the only top tier team in the whole of European football unbeaten this season in all competitions, impressive

  3. He is not the only problem..he maybe a part of the issue but there needs to be more than just his resignation. The fans should have kept up the pressure all through the year as wholesale changes have been needed since the boss and David Gill stepped down. 4 managers, 9 years and a BILLION have been spent..yet no big trophies to show.
The club needs to restructure the whole football part of the operations…new CEO, new DoF, new sporting director, new youth team coach, new first team assistants and then a new manager (maybe).

On top of that, you need at least one if not two center-halves and one or two central mids.

Then, renegotiate the rising debt, pay off dues regarding the player transfer sums, repair the leaking roof, re-design the seats and sell the deadwood from the squad/U23s.

  4. Jurgen could stay beyond his contract – if he's excited about the way the side is developing – especially with the young kids coming through. Alex Ferguson stayed at Man United longer than expected, for the same reason – seeing Beckham, Scholes, Giggs etc coming into the side. It must be very difficult to walk away from that.
