11. l'm a liverpool fan. but l fell in love with ac milan also. Because l loved gullit and van basten as a 10 year old getting into football at that time and watching them in Euro 88. And also from 9:26 when ac milan played real madrid in the 1989 european cup semi final 2nd leg at the san siro stadium. After 6 mins, play actually stopped and the san siro stadium fell slient. This was both milan and real madrid paying their respects and condoles to the 96 liverpool fans who died at the hillsborough stadium disaster 4 days earlier. And then the milan fans started singing YNWA. Milan since have been my second team after liverpool……The AC Milan team from 1987-94 was the greatest european club football team that l had seen play in the pre barcelona era of 2005-11….lt would've been fasinating to have seen the great ac milan and liverpool teams in the late 1980s go head to head had liverpool not been banned from europe at that time…
