  1. Well Julian Ward and your recruiting team have done it again and a MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THEM BUT ALSO TO THE OWNERS, JOHN HENRY AND FSG, they have well and truly backed Klopp massively in this summer transfer window.

To Julian Ward to go to Benfica and to do face to face meeting to get this deal done is quite simply brilliant, he signed Luis Diaz in last season’s January transfer window and got Luis Diaz for £37.9 million, with Porto and Porto stilled owed Liverpool £10 from the Grujic deal and Barcelona still owe Liverpool money from the Coutinho deal.

Liverpool FC are a truly well oiled machine from top to bottom, our recruiting is streets ahead of every club in the World ? to me this is a FACT. Everyone knows there role at the club and for Julian Ward to be the New Sporting Director after taking over from the legendary Michael Edwards boy has he had a great few month’s signing Diaz and now Nunez it is hats of to Julian Ward absolutely brilliant work from him and his team.

So Julian Ward has basically added another year to Nunez’s contract but will have paid the fee with the sale of Mane say around the £35 million mark, the £30 million we saved on the Diaz deal THANKS TO SPURS GOING IN FOR HIM so with this in mind fee PAID FOR without going into the transfer kitty which shows how the Michael Edwards effect has on Julian Ward great start to his new role as Sporting Director.

He signed from City 10 years ago to join John Henry and FSG and just like that he is our NEW SPORTING DIRECTOR and how must City be feeling right now?

Roll on the new season I cannot wait for it. YNWA
