  1. I don't think it's about how much Mane and Salah are on but the length of the deals that Liverpool are prepared to offer to what are two players who will be in their 30s next season. If I were LFC, I wouldn't offer 2 key players long term deals either. Bayern probably have done. And at Bayern, they will win the league for sure.

  4. I agree mane is underpaid but salah makes as much as De bruyne, because Liverpool pay hefty performance pay, players get up to 40% additional pay for performance, that's on fitness, skills, professionalism and on pitch performance. Salah easily makes over 300k a week.

So liverpool finished with 92 points, 1 point behind mancity now they need an attacker plus 2 midfielders to compete? ???…. fabinho, Elliott is an amazing young player, people forgot how great he was before he got injured and then thiago. People are expecting way too much of haaland! It annoys me when people talk about how players getting what they are worth because of other players…. let's flip it! Maybe liverpool players are getting what they deserve, maybe de bruyne and other mancity players are being over paid instead of liverpool players under paying

  10. It’s about how long they want, 5 year contract at 30-31 years old it’s the wrong decision for Liverpool to sign older players on 5 year mega buck contracts. It makes. Club cash trapped. You buy young players with sell on value. Liverpool made Salah and Mane and can make Nunez and Diaz there replacements

  13. Gabby the muppet has failed to grasp that Liverpool are already competing with City as last season proved. A few minor tweaks to an already top team is all that's needed to take it one step further.

  18. For me we need competition / cover for Fabinho for this season. He is so important for the way we play.

    Also, having just (allegedly) got a young player to cover for TAA, no natural replacement on our right (Salah) forward position is worrying. An injury to Mo and we would have to jury-rig our attack. A Young right sided forward and a young DM, on top of Nunez (should he come) and I'd be more than happy. (I think a Bellingham type played has been earmarked for next year.) Happy if we get Nunez and one other of those positions. If we just get Nunez, and lose Mane, then I'd be satisfied, but a touch nervous.

    Having just won 2 trophies, wonder if Klopp will use more fringe / youth players for the cups (unless a final / Semi materialises) and go all out in Premier League and Champions League? That would be nice to see.

  22. salah and mane were that good this season they failed to win us the champions league or premier league, they had opportunities to win a big game against spurs at anfield and failed, they don't deserve anywhere near what they want, salahs goal ratios looks okay but scoring goals against teams outside top 4 aint much use. not as good as people think. liverpool will move on without them and win the league and champions league again under klopp

  27. Can’t be mad at them for wanting to earn more but we have to keep our structure. What if we break it now then someone comes even better than Mane and Salah. Then we gotta break it again. I don’t think anyone should be earning more than Vvd and Ally

  29. I have to agree there we also need to strengthen our midfield along with a new striker a priority. If we are to challenge city for the title. We need experience midfielders like city to take it toe to toe with them.

  30. It's like Gabby is just trying to make out Mane and Salah are hard done by and it's just as easy to say yeah here you go have £350,000 a week. Like it wouldn't affect the club and how it is run and how it will be run in the future.

  33. I think Klopp's missed a trick in not appointing Agbonlahor as his transfer target adviser. Imagine how successful Klopp's career would have been with Gabby as his right hand man.

I think we do need to get few more player but i think the rest of the league should be more worried about competing with city ok we never won the league but we competed an lost by 1 point, We create alot of chances an score alot of goals an waste alot of chances too so maybe a number 9 striker is what we needed especially if mane is gone,

  41. Liverpool have sub standard creativity and goals coming from their midfield. Excluding Thiago, rest of the them are postboxes, championship level. South American Nunez going to be paid 250pw, and Africans Salah and Mane still are under 200 pw. Two highest goalsorers for last 5 years being underpaid, instituionalised racism @ Liverpool underpaying african bon players.

  43. Things like the stability of your family, children's school friends, relationships with the community, etc. etc. only come in to play if it's close. 100k/week is not close. I'm more than certain Mane can find comfortable arrangements for himself and his family in Bavaria too with that income.

  47. I dont get for the life of me why with Mane going Gnabry isn't an option?? Would be the PERFECT replacement, only 25 world class winger and german like Klopp. Dont know why theyre not trying and under £40m for him is a BARGIN in todays market
