  7. This brought tears to my eyes. I have been a Liverpool fan since the 2014-2015 season. Thankfully I didn't have to wait 30 years to see a Premier League title. However, I can somehow relate being from Minnesota here in the states. I haven't seen a trophy in my lifetime supporting the local teams (Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves). The last championship won was in 1991 and it was the second trophy the state of Minnesota has ever seen. When it came to choosing a football/soccer team I somewhat had free roam of who I chose. I liked and enjoyed watching a lot of players when I was younger, but never had any ties to a specific team. I can't recall what exactly drew me in close to Liverpool other than watching Sturridge in the 2014 World Cup. I watched every highlight of his here on YouTube and started to get more familiar with Liverpool. I will also add that I very much enjoy the history aspect to many things, sports being one of them. With Liverpool having a very rich history that excited me even more. It fed my appetite combing history with sports. I was instantly hooked. I don't know what I fell in love with at the time, but I knew that I had to learn everything I could about the club. After watching countless documentaries and reading just about every Wikipedia page involving the club my passion grew and grew.

    For the first time in my life I can say a sports team has brought me happiness. The Minnesota teams usually just bring pain and anger. Thank you Liverpool FC!
