  1. Gerrards plan was the correct one, it just didn't work out but the fact that it was at all close says everything. I'm delighted to see him doing so well at Villa. I understand that it will largely be that new manager boost but their results are pretty extraordinary. They have won every game except for the decent performances against Liverpool and City. There's no shame in losing those games but to keep the scoreline so close is really something to be proud of.

This spell has been massive for their survival chances. That's how he's got to see it for now. He can get ambitious later on.

  2. It would have been so hard for him to contain his emotions. I mean he loves to win and he is playing against the team he has loved his whole life and then you got the crowd which he has loved (and they loved him) going off. I half expected Stevie to do a knee slide down the touchline when we scored the penalty haha.

  3. I am possibly the biggest LFC fan on the planet and yes, we are in numbers. But oh my word, Full respect to our favourite son, one of us and someone who impressed all round with his attitude and his current teams performance. It all bodes well for ""future" Liverpool and we litererally will receive you with arms wide open, after our current managerial GOD decides to leave …We are blessed with such people.???

  4. "Depends on your point of view?" as King Kenny would say. Stevie G with Claret and Blue eyes! Reds were so far in front in terms of invention, flare attacking prowess – playing proper football. If Allison hadn't fallen asleep twice they never had a kick at us?? What the Hell are Villa moaning about – NOT ONE CLEAR SHOT ON THE REDS in 95mins!!! Get a Life Villa you are Miles behind and the scoreline never reflected the actual play. The Ref was running around in Claret and Blue. Nakamba would be arrested in the street for some of his missed tackles! third rate imbecile. play??? shocking player how in God's name he plays in central midfield in the Prem only you know Stevie! Final Moan – more shocking Primary School Acoustics in these Press Meetings Blood Red. Gonna have to get the Primary School at Anfield in to sort it out for you. Shambles…."We are Liverpool that means more"??? it dont show.

  5. I'd suggest Gerrard watches Match of the day……. 100% Pen on Salah and Alisson gets a hand to the ball not the player (without mentioning the Ings double-handed push on Matip first or Robbo's pen shout)

  6. STEVIE G always loved you through my 50 years but i’m glad we beat the Villa today
UP THE POOL⚽️?? wish you all the best and success going forward YNWA
