Why is no one know one talking abut the average midfield that Liverpool have, especially without Thiago?? I mean you can’t surely expect to win the league with that midfield especially in today’s age where you have teams like Man City whose midfield is miles ahead of Liverpool. The only time Liverpool threaten is in transition, your wing backs and forwards can only carry you till some point, not 30+ games.

Pretty much even if Liverpool and Chelsea beat City in those six pointers, City are too consistent to drop points against the rest. As shown by their win against a very good Arsenal team recently. You can count on the refs to make sure the 50-50 incidents go their way. We also have to see if Liverpool can do without Salah and Mane for the AFCON. City might lose Mahrez but they will have Foden and Grealish itching to start.
