Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker says the Reds are going out to win all competitions this season, ahead of facing Benfica in the Champions League.

The goalkeeper was asked about the demands of challenging for four trophies as well as the trophies the club have already won during his time at Anfield.

The Brazilian also spoke about the threat of Benfica ahead of the quarter-final second leg on Wednesday night.

With just seven games remaining, Manchester City are one point ahead of their opponents in the standings. As the Manchester City boss said on Friday, the three points from this game will be very important for the final standings.

If the match is called the deciding champion, the pair will face a real knockout tie next week for a place in the FA Cup final. Manchester City’s three-peat or Liverpool’s quadruple is sure to end next weekend.

Guardiola was looking forward to it and was relaxed when he joked in his pre-match press conference about sleeping like a baby as part of his preparations. Despite two separate meetings in two different games, the Blues boss expects their first encounter to affect the second.
